Nature is filled with bizarre, weird and rare things. Some things are rare the way they look, others are just unique. The corpse flower is a rare species of flora that only blooms once in every ten years.
The ‘Corpse Flower’ also known as Amorphophallus titanum, can range from eight to ten feet in height comes from the Indonesian island of Sumatra. This flower has blood-red petals and when it blooms, gives off a stench. The Toronto Zoo is keeping themselves open for visitors to see this bizarre flower for longer hours.
Smelly, stinky, yet it’s a rare sight!
