However, this year’s first crorepati of the show is an inspiration to the whole nation by herself.
Binata Jain, a tuition teacher from Assam and a single parent answered 14 questions to become the first crorepati of the show on Tuesday night. The mother of two has experienced a life altering situation that shaped her to come on the show. On February 2003, Binita’s husband went on a business trip to a near by state and never returned.
According to the reports by India Today, he was allegedly kidnapped by terrorists. He has been legally declared dead.
According to News 18, She explained that she tried everything she could to look for her missing husband but couldn’t succeed. After 18 months of search and waiting, she decided to teach students at a coaching centre to be able to fend for her young children, a son and a daughter.
With a mantra to move forward in life Banita has defied all odds and managed to become the first crorepati of the show.
